This bird species are members of the bowerbird family. They are about 25 cm in length and mostly in olive brown color. Vogelkop Bowerbird is one of the largest and elaborate bowers. One thing that captured my eyes during that episode was the unique characteristics of this bird. These birds are competing with each other to win their mate by doing an unusual bird thing. They are decorating and fixing their nest to make it beautiful and appealing to the eyes of their mate. Each of them is using different kind of materials found in the forest to use in creating their own different style.
